Mrs. Gayle has and will continue to have a special place in our hearts. Helping my mom, brother and I with friendship, shelter and guidance when I was young; and helping me just last year with some needed truth and encouragement in a time of needed closure. Which in turn, helped my wife and children; she was a special person to me and my family. To those she left behind... you are in our thoughts and prayers. She is in a better place now.

Gayle and I worked together at Hood and Bowie. She was a good friend to me.  She was so intelligent.  Boy, could she whip a master schedule out and tweek it to run at 98%!  I will miss visiting her in her office.

I am saddened by the passing of Gayle.  She was a beautiful person and truly loved her family,  I grew to love and understand her.  We worked together for many years at Bowie, Hood, and AIM High.  Remember that God is able to take care of you and bless you through these trying times.

I have only met Gayle a few times,& enjoyed every visit we had. I  know she holds a special place in my husband's heart. She will always be remembered by me as philip's stepmom. I wished he could have had more visits with her. Truely loved & missed

Truly a very caring person who love the children she worked with, and wanted the very best for them. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Gayle and I were neighbors for many years. She just loved everybody so much. My prayers go out to all her family members and closest friends.

Gayle was a great friend and I worked with her at both Bowie and Hood.  She was the one who volunteered to go with me to see a specialist in Dallas in 1999 when I was diagnosed with MS.  Her reply "well it's not the end of the world, get out, let's have fun, and then live your life to the fullest!"  Even after I left teaching I kept in contact with Gayle because she was such a positive person and we enjoyed laughing and talking about the "good old days!" 

Rest in peace my friend!  I will see you again someday, and once again, we will be laughing and rejoicing!

Gayle was such an awesome person. I enjoyed getting to know her during my time at Bowie and loved her sense of humor. I knew that anytime I went to her office, we were likely to engage in a rather long conversation about anything and everything. Bowie will not be the same without her and I will miss her very much. My prayers for the family.
