

Santana Rodriguez 58, of Odessa went to be with our Heavenly Father on Wednesday June 12, 2013 at Medical Center Hospital. He was born July 26, 1954 in La Paz, Gran Morelos, Chihuahua, Mexico to Santana Rodriguez and Aurelia Flores. He was a Catholic and worked in the Construction Industry. Santana loved his family, going to horse races, cruising and gardening. Santana was also known for making the best chicharones around and always making people smile and full of joy. Santana loved his devoted wife and daughter and his brothers and sister. Santana also loved his music especially Paquita del barrio Juan Gabriel Vicente Fernandez and Willie Nelson. Santana would do anything for his family, He was a one-of-a-kind husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin. & Dear Friend. Santana we will always love you & will live in our hearts forever. Mr. Rodriguez is survived by; his loving & devoted Wife: Barbara Rodriguez of Odessa, Texas, Daughter & Son-in-law Rebeccea Hammond Mendivil (Manuel) of Odessa, Texas, Brothers; Oracio Rodriguez& Family of Kansas City, Carmelo Rodriguez & Family of La Paz, Chih. Mexico, Lazaro Rodriguez of Odessa, Sister; Dora Rodriguez & Family of La Paz, Chih, Mexico, Cousins Ramona Gomez and family of Midland, Texas, nephew Fernando Rodriguez and family of Midland, Texas, Mario Soliz and family of Chihuahua, Mexico. His sister- in- laws Rosa Rangel of Odessa Tx, Vicki Wayne of Indiana and Ana Maria Hammond of Indiana, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. We the Rodriguez family would like to take this time and express our utmost sincere gratitude to each and everyone of you for all your prayers, floral, food offerings and especially your presence with us during this most difficult time. Visitation will be held today Sunday from 1pm to 9pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10am Monday at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery Peaceful Garden Section.
