In the Arms of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is to be found a Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister& Dear Friend. Sylvia Rubalcado, 55 years of Odessa, passed away July 5, 2011 at the Hospice House here in Odessa. She was born on December 15, 1956 in Pecos, Texas, to George and Tomasa Bustamante Barriga Sr. She was a Christian and a Homemaker and had much Love for her Eight Dogs. She is preceded in death but reunited with Parents: George and Tomasa Bustamante Barriga Sr., 4 Brothers: Arnulfo Barriga, Ruben Barriga, Ezequiel Barriga and Manuel Barriga She is survived by her husband; Samuel Rivera of Odessa, Sons; Librado Aguilar Jr. of Odessa, Eddie Vasquez and wife Angela of Monahans, Joshua Vasquez and Daniel Marquez Rivera & wife Amy of Odessa, Daughters; Rosalinda Rubalcabo and husband Mingo Alcantar , Dixcie Woody and husband Chris all of Odessa, Brothers: George Barriga and wife Santos, Homar Barriga and wife Hope, Sisters; Criselda Barrriga, Cleo Barriga and Oralia Barriga all of Odessa, 13 grandchildren and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces Nephews and Many Friends. We the Family would like to take this time and express our utmost sincere gratitude to each and everyone of you for all your prayers, floral food offerings and especially your presence with us during this most difficult time, A special gratitude to all the Dr`s and staff at The Home Hospice House Facility and the Cancer Center for all the wonderful loving care given to my Beloved Wife and Mother Sylvia, May God Bless You All Abundantly. Pallbearers will be Mingo Alcantar, Joshua Vasquez, Eddie Vasquez, Librado Aguilar Jr., Daniel Marquez Rivera, Micael Ceballos, Albert Carlos, and Matthew Montoya. A Prayer Service will be held tonight at 7pm at Odessa Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Saturday July 9, 2011 at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Angel Hernandez officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery Los Angeles Section.
