Velma Carrasco Hill

The Infamous Phrase “ I NEED THERAPY” was said by A Beloved Wife, Daughter, Mother, Sister, Aunt, and Dear Friend while being welcomed into the Loving Arms of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ . Velma Carrasco Hill at the age of 48 and from Odessa, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013 at her residence.

She was born to Carlos and Merita Chavez Carrasco on November 10, 1964 in Odessa, Texas. She united in marriage to Rumaldo Hill Jr. in 2007 here in Odessa. She was a Coding Consultant in the Medical Industry and a great conversationalist. She was known for her extensive vocabulary and her great need of “Therapy”. Live Long and Prosper Trekkies.

She is preceded in death by: Son Terry Joe Garcia, Nephew Carlos Carrasco, and

Niece Baby Sadie.

Mrs. Hill is survived by her loving husband Rumaldo Hill Jr. of Odessa, Parents; Carlos and Merita Carrasco, Sisters; Olga and Husband Ruben Matta, Wilma and husband Rudy Hinojos, Brothers; Johnny and wife Mary Ann Carrasco, and Manuel and Hollie Carrasco. Sisters-in-law Lidia Cruz and Mary Ann Ortega, and Brothers-in-law Ray Hill and Willie Hill, Nieces; Kim Ramirez, Melissa Zenger, Sarah Carrasco, Michelle Hinojos, and Haley Carrasco, Nephews; Mark Matta, Carlos Carrasco, and Jared Carrasco, Great-Nieces; Sophie Ramirez, Emily Matta, and Bella Zenger, and Great Nephews; Christian Ramirez, Wyatt Matta, Kaleb Zenger, and Lucas Matta, along with aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Pallbearers will be; George Carrasco, Mark Matta, Christian Ramirez, Jesse Ramirez, John Zenger, Kaleb Zenger, Jared Carrasco, and Wyatt Matta.

We the Family would like to take this time and express our utmost sincere gratitude to each and everyone of you for all your prayers, floral, food offerings and especially your presence with us during this most difficult time. Visitation will be held today Sunday, July 21, 2013 from 5pm - 9pm and Monday, July 22, 2013 from 8am-9pm with a Service of Remembrance at 7pm at Odessa Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be at 10am Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend: Oscar Lopez Jr. officiating. Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery Los Angeles Section.
