Viola Quiroz

Viola was born on May 19th 1956 in Marfa, Texas to Maria Sanchez Quiroz. She attended Marfa High School and later went on to graduate from Sul Ross University in Alpine, Texas from the Licensed Vocational Nursing program in 1988. She continued her education in nursing and received her Master’s Degree. Viola loved nursing and her life was dedicated to her profession and most importantly caring for and helping people. Her career ultimately led her to Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas where she became a Case Manager where she continued her passion of helping people.

Viola loved her family and friends. She was a selfless woman. Her son Eric Jason Quiroz Sr. and grandchildren Micah Valente Quiroz, Eric Jason Quiroz Jr. and Alana Maxine Quiroz are her legacy and was very proud to call them her own. She was a social butterfly and easily made friends everywhere that she went. She had an infectious laugh and a happy go lucky attitude that left a permanent mark on people. She was also a FASHIONISTA! She was setting trends long before they were popular.

Her faith in Jesus Christ was her biggest passion. She believed she was on this earth to do The Lord’s work and she did until the day she left the earth.

Viola loved her life and everyone in it. She will surely be missed by her family, friends and everyone she met. Her soul will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She made this world a better place indeed.

Viola is preceded in death by her Mother Maria Sanchez Quiroz and Grandparents Valente Quiroz and Santiaga “Chaga” Sanchez Quiroz.

Viola is survived by her son Eric Jason Quiroz Sr., his wife Crystal Quiroz, grandsons Micah Valente Quiroz, Eric Jason Quiroz Jr. and granddaughter Alana Maxine Quiroz.

A visitation for Viola will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors, 4635 Oakwood Dr, Odessa, Texas 79761. A funeral service will occur Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Viola will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Gardens, 6801 E 1-20 Business Loop, Odessa, Texas 79762.
