Willedee Thomas Patterson

Willedee was born December 18, 1944 to Lavelle Thomas and James C. Thomas Jr. in Houston, TX. She was reared in Pasadena, TX and graduated from Pasadena High School. She received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from U. T. Austin and a Master of Business Administration from U. T. Permian Basin. Willedee taught in public schools for a few years and then taught in the School of Business at U.T. Permian Basin for many years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church. Willedee served in various civic and charitable organizations, including Leadership Odessa and The Junior League of Odessa. Willedee married Randal Patterson on March 1, 1983 in Las Vegas, NV.

Willedee was preceded in death by her parents and by her daughter Melissa Jones.

Willedee is survived by her husband Randal Patterson, her son Rusty Jones and his wife Heather, her stepson Chuck Patterson and his wife Kim, her stepson Scott Patterson and his wife Kristen, her brother James C. Thomas III and his wife Jeanetta, her cousin Nancy Sue Livingston and her husband Bobby, her cousin Judy Cline, and six granddaughters.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 1:00 pm at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Odessa with father David Mossbarger officiating. Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Forest Park Lawndale, in Houston, TX at 3:00 pm.

Arrangements are entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
