AC Rowell went to be with our lord and savior on July 4, 2022. He was born August 9, 1932 in Chigger Hill, Alabama to Laura and Markus Rowell. He grew up on a farm in Chigger Hill until he was a teenager and then moved to Oklahoma where he met his beautiful wife of 66 years, Margaret McDaniel. They wed on September 21, 1955, then grew into a family of four by welcoming two children, Robert “Bobby” Charles and Marliss Ann. AC served in the Army during the Korean War in the motor pool division. After his time in the Army, he became a truck driver which fueled his love of traveling. When he wasn’t driving the truck, he and Margaret would pack up their RV, hop on motorcycles, and see the world. As part of his passion of motorcycles, he served as president and mentor of the Naysayers Motorcycle Club. He never met a mile marker he didn’t know. Family meant everything to AC and he loved spending time with each and every one of them. From rolling dice, to playing dominoes or Wii games, there was always time for competing with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. And to AC, family and friends were one and the same. If he considered you a friend, you were family. He was very loved and respected, and will be missed by many. In his honor, his family will be wearing his favorite color, yellow (yeller), to commemorate his memory.
He was preceded in death by his parents, eight siblings, and daughter by love, not by birth Tiffany Maher.
He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; son Bobby; daughter Marliss; grandchildren Michelle Brauckmann and husband David, Jarrett Carpenter and wife Amy, Denny Crawford and wife Michelle, Christa French and husband Ryan, Naomi Grace and husband Tommy, Bobbie Sue Coats and husband Trevor; great grandchildren Rylee Riddle, Chloe Brauckmann, Parker Brauckmann, Connor Crawford, Casey Charles Crawford, Landri Crawford, Matthew Au, Maverick Au, Marshall Au, Jordan French, Kylie French, Dylan Ryan, TJ Ryan, Tucker Grace, Waylon Coats and Weslyn Coats; great great grandchildren Dallas Ryan and Athena Ryan; son by love, not by birth Greg Maher and wife Khrystle; life-long friends David and Mary Cobb and so many other family and friends.
