Albert Nathan McBee

Albert was born on July 29, 1950, in Tulsa, OK, to Isaac Nathan McBee and Mary Elizabeth Duncan McBee. He earned his high school diploma from US Grant High School in OKC. He served for four years in the United States Navy from 1972-1975.

On July 30, 2003, he was married to Janice Sue “Susie” McBee.

Albert was a retired electrical contractor and attended The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints since December 18, 2022.

He was an avid fisherman and hunter and had many hobbies including gardening and watching old and new Westerns, especially John Wayne, beekeeping, poultry farming, and wood crafting lathe work turning bowls. Albert was a big Star Trek fan. He also entered many competitions in the United States Faceters Guild, crafting jewelry, canning and preserving foods, and even tried his hand at brewing and winemaking. Albert was also in an ICBM Bowling League with his sister and parents.

Albert is preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law, James Ruphard Switzer, Sr; mother-in-law, Jeanne Anne Switzer; sisters-in-law, Jeanne Charlene Tretter and Stella June Johnson; brother-in-law, James Ruphard Switzer, Jr; niece, Teresa Elaine Hickling; grandson, James Dean Morrison; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Leaving behind to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 20-1/2 years, Janice Sue “Susie” McBee; sister, Carol Alice McBee Hickling and her husband, Carl Hickling; sister-in-law, Teresa Switzer; brother-in-law, Jon Switzer and sister-in-law, Shirley Switzer; brother-in-law, Bill Switzer and sister-in-law, Christy Switzer; brother-in-law, Jeff Switzer and sister-in-law, Joyce Switzer; daughter, Melinda Ann McBee Morgan and her husband, Tim Morgan; daughter, Fern Marie McBee Ivey; stepson, Michael Morrison and his wife, Nannette Morrison; grandchildren, Aleena Morgan Harrell and her husband, Levi Harrell, Breann Morgan Harrell and her husband, Sam Harrell, Christian Morgan, Nathan Ivey, Olivia Ivey, Catherine Morrison, Shelby Cleary, Bradley Cleary; great-grandchildren, Ruth Harrell, Peter Harrell, Elliott Harrell, Luna Harrell, and baby on the way, Selene Harrell; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and beloved extended family and friends.
