Alfred Reed, 89, passed away this Saturday in Norman, OK. He was born October 23,1920 in Canton, OK to Ira & Clara Reed. In his life Alfred was a member of the U.S. Army, Post58 American Legion, & Westminster Baptist Church. He is a retiree from TAFB. He liked to garden, fish, and work with the church. Alfred, also, had built his own house. Surviving him are his 3 brothers: Eugene & wife Lela Mae Reed of Guthrie; Harold & wife Linda Faye Reed of Okay; and Marcus & Marge Reed of New Jersey. Preceding him in death were his parents; wife Martha; sisters Thelma, Martha, & Clarice; brothers Ralph, Fred, & Bill; and step-son Gerald Stocker. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Westminster Road Baptist Church with burial at Arlington Memory Gardens after the rendering of Military Honors.
