Alice Rose Thayer Rogers

Alice Rose Rogers was born April 25, 1930 in Thomas, Oklahoma. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and working with youth programs; her family was her life. Alice was preceded by her son, Billy Glenn Rogers, Mother, Mary Ellen Roof Lamb, Father, Edward Thayer, Step dad, Charles Lamb, and Grandson, Trent Lee Rogers. She is survived by her husband, Dorman Rogers, Son, Charles Rogers and wife Barbara, Son, Tom Rogers and wife Karen, Brother Edward Thayer and wife Ilama, Grandchildren, Phillip Rogers, Terry Rogers and wife Debbie, Tracey and husband Fred Deming, Trena Rogers and five great-grandchildren, Charles Rogers, Cortlyn Gerrand, Caiden Gerrand, Taylore Deming, and Stormie Deming.

Services are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at Guardian Funeral Homes West Chapel, 5820 NW 41st Street, Oklahoma City, OK., with burial in Arlington Memory Gardens. Visitation for Alice will be on Monday, June 20, from 8a.m. to 8p.m., with family to greet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Guardian Funeral Homes West Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s foundations at the OU medical center at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center PO Box 26901 Oklahoma City, OK 73126-0901.
