Aliwayne Musser

Aliwayne lived her life of 96 years to the fullest. She was always healthy, and in her final years she was able to bounce back from every medical challenge, with the exception of her last.

Her loves were her family, bridge and sports, especially University of Oklahoma sports. She actually played bridge less than a week before her passing. Her true love was her husband Scott who passed away at the age of 90 in 2016. She always said when you had the best you don't need the rest.

She is survived by her sister Jeannie Hiller (Crookston Mn) ; her oldest son Steven Musser and wife Somsri (Chicago, IL), her only daughter Gaylene O'Halloran and husband Dan (Norman, OK), and her youngest son Bill Musser and partner Dan (Long Beach, CA); 2 grandchildren (Namfon and Ian), and 2 great grandchildren (Scott and Sean); and her 7 nieces, and 4 nephews; and countless number of loving friends from Las Vegas, The Carlotta in Palm Desert, Palm Springs, and the Rivermont in Norman.

A Memorial Service for Scott and Aliwayne Musser will be held at Noon on Friday, November 7th at the "Seamen First Class Billy Turner Ardmore Veterans Cemetery" located at 1555 Myall Street in Ardmore, Oklahoma. There will be a brief ceremony that will commemorate their lives, followed by a ceremony to honor Scott Musser's military service, and the entombment of their ashes. Service will begin promptly at Noon and finish no later than 12:20. Attendees are asked to be at the front gate 15 minutes before Noon, where we all will drive in together to the Committal Shelter. The ceremony will be held outside, so please dress appropriately.

Immediately following the Memorial Service, a Celebration of Life Luncheon for Aliwayne Musser will be held in a private room at Cafe Alley located at 126 A St. NE, Ardmore, OK 73401.

Aliwayne Musser liked to wear bright and bold colors, and you are encouraged (but not required) to wear bright colors in her honor. Come share some wonderful stories, mixed with laughter, and a final toast to a life well lived.
