Allan Gene Travis passed away June 28, 2020. He was born April 4, 1950 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Arthur Wayne Travis and Mary Alice Huston Trent. Allan attended McCook County Junior College on a full ride wrestling Scholarship, before he enlisted in the National Guard. Shortly after he started his Tower career of nearly 50 years. Allan enjoyed spending time with family, boating, attending concerts and watching the Sooners.

He is survived by his children, John Allan Travis of Las Vegas, NV, Shantell Marie Travis Tartaro and Jack Tartaro of Dallas, TX, Krizia Marie Travis and Nick Wisley of Edmond, OK, Alana Mae Travis of Edmond, OK; siblings, Marie Renfro of Allen, TX, Edward Travis of Sulphur, OK, Dale Travis of Louisiana, and Amy Fribourg of Plano, TX. Allan also leaves behind grandchildren, Marybella, Sicilia, and Valentino Allan Tartaro of Dallas, TX and Sophia, Damon, and Stella Wisley of Edmond, OK, to cherish his memory.

Allan is preceded in death by his brother, Larry Travis.

A private service to celebrate Allan’s life will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. A graveside service open to all guests to follow.
