Ann Hopps

Ann Hopps, 98, of Nichols Hills, OK, went to be with the Lord on November 25th. She was born in Oklahoma City on April 10, 1926. Ann attended Classen High School, Mary Baldwin College, and the University of Oklahoma. She was married to Howard B Hopps Jr on September 28, 1946. After 69 years of marriage, Howard passed away on September 17, 2016. Ann's daughter Rosemary Stafford passed away on December 8, 2016. Ann was a homemaker who volunteered for many Oklahoma City organizations, and was a docent at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. She was always generous and kind to everyone, and was a lifetime member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Ann is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Dean and husband Jerry Christiansen of Dripping Springs, TX, son Bert Hopps and wife Christina, and son-in-law Mike Stafford. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Joshua Hopps and wife Dr. Amina Ahmed of Glenview, IL, Sarah Schmidt and husband Jeff, Laura Hopps and Derek Smith, William Stafford, Geoffrey Stafford and wife Krista, and Samuel Stafford. Ann's five great-grandchildren are Maryam Hopps, Munira Hopps, Maxwell Schmidt, Theodore Schmidt, and Henry Stafford. Ann will be greatly missed by her loving family.

A visitation for Ann will be held Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper, 6600 Broadway Extension, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. A funeral service will occur Sunday, December 15, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper.
