Born in Bailey, Oklahoma to Charles Otis Huddleston and Maudie May
Barton Huddleston, Audrey was the eldest daughter of that union. Audrey
never forgot her days growing up in California and loved her life in a large
farming family. Her memories often went back to her parents and
spending her childhood with her brothers, sisters, cousins and childhood
friends.
Audrey met and married Nicholas A. Torre in 1958 in the beautiful State of
Colorado. Life was full of adventures and she had a lot more family to
embrace and love. Together, Audrey and Nicholas raised four children,
Curtis, Annette, Sandra and Joyce, and all enjoyed living throughout the
United States and at several United States Air Force Bases.
Audrey was a renaissance woman, blazing her own unique trail, working as
a homemaker, a home health aid, and as an antique dealer, having her own
vintage shop. She spent time doing the things she loved, going to church,
collecting, giving, selling, meeting people and always smiling at everyone
she met and spending time with her husband and children. Audrey had a
gift of love, which she shared with everyone.
Her family is looking forward to seeing her again and knows she is at peace
with her loved ones that have gone on before her.
