Barbara Berg Stroud

Barbara Berg Stroud, age 63, of Midwest City, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023. Barbara was born on August 7, 1960 in Palo Alto, California to her parents, Robert & Lorine (Stanley) Berg.

Barbara attended Oceanside High School and Stanford where she earned an associated degree in business. Barbara worked as a CPA, a dispatcher for Brown's Wrecker (where her and Calvin met), Snap On Tools, and as a waitress. When Barbara was not working, she enjoyed gardening, arts & crafts, family time, and bird watching. Some of Barbara's favorite vacations were going to Las Vegas with Calvin, going to Kentucky, camping, and going to the lake (Arbuckle). Barbara was proud to be a mother, wife, grandmother, and graduating college at an early age. Barbara was also a devout catholic. She also has a collection of ballerina and debate trophies.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Bob and Lorine Berg, and Ruth Stroud (mother-in-law).

She is survived by her husband Calvin Stroud whom she married on September 26, 1990; son, Paul Thompson; son, Joshua Speer; daughter, Anna Stroud; brother Robert Berg and wife Lanai; grandchildren, Isha Roberson, Zyanna Roberson, Samerika Roberson, Nila & Kylie; cousins, James, Larry, Barry, Harry, Candy, Sandy Lovella; aunt, Ailleen; father-in-law Earnest Stroud; nieces & nephews, Bruce and Tamara Stroud, Matt & Lindsay Hub, Bridgett White & Brandon Stroud and many more.
