Beatrice L Gallagher

Beatrice L. Gallagher, 68, of Newalla, OK was born April 10, 1942 to R.D. and Mary Ada (Goss) McGinnis in Pampa, TX and passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 in Oklahoma City, OK. She worked for many years in retail managing department stores. She attended Shady Nook Free Will Baptist Church. Beatrice volunteered at the Salvation Army and she loved sewing, gardening and landscaping (bossing the crew). Family survivors include three daughters: Mary Gardner and husband Ben of TX, Diane Merrill of Newalla, OK, and Lillian White and husband Jimmie of McLoud, OK; two brothers: Bennie and Robert; six sisters: Clorene, Carolyn, Neoma, Viola, Lovona, and Jessie; nine grandchildren: Andrew, Rebecca, Mason, Jacob, Chris, Casey, Richard, Brittney, and Jacquie; three great-grandchildren: John, James, and Summer; and many other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary; one son, Glen Woodmansee in 2004; two sisters: Grace and Louetta; and one brother, Omer Dale. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Bill Eisenhour NE Chapel and a Committal Service will be the following Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City, OK.
