

Ben proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. After his military service, he worked for many years at Tinker Air Force Base, where he eventually retired.
On June 28, 1979, Ben married his wife, Allean Tingle. Together, they shared 45 years of marriage.
Ben had a deep appreciation for music, enjoying everything from Reggae and Jazz to Blues. He was happiest when surrounded by his family, and he especially cherished time spent with his grandchildren. Known for his playful sense of humor, he loved to tease and laugh with those closest to him.
He believed in the value of hard work and the importance of spending quality time together. Whether he was out fishing on a sunny day or visiting the casino, Ben found joy in life’s simple pleasures.
Ben is survived by his wife Allean Tingle of Jones, Oklahoma; children Phillip Davis (Maria Yvette Davis) of Tampa, Florida; Vinita Turner of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Michael Tingle of England; Sheena Tingle of Midwest City, Oklahoma; Aaron Tingle of Jones, Oklahoma; brothers Jessie Harris of Newton, Mississippi; Jerry Williams (Sarah) of Philadelphia, Mississippi; John Tingle of Midwest City, Oklahoma; Jerome Tingle (Rebecca) of Luther, Oklahoma; Lamar Tingle of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Herman Tingle of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; JD Pleasant of Kansas City, Missouri; sisters Carrie Tingle of San Leandro, California; Eloise McGlotnin of Cleveland, Ohio; Barbara Parks (Charles) of Cleveland, Ohio; Sharon Evans of Detroit, Michigan and Clarissa Jeffers of Midwest City, Oklahoma. As well as 13 grandchildren Katisha Turner, LaQuinton Bowman, LeQuane Swain, Margiznee Turner, Phillip Davis Jr., Isaiah Davis, Makaylah Davis, Aaron Tingle Jr., Xavier James, Maliah James, Kimberly Tingle, Camile Tingle and David Tingle and 7 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.
He’s preceded in death by his parents Eddie Tingle and Willie-Eva Johnson; brothers Eddie Tingle Jr.; Leroy Tingle; Michael Roberts; sisters Linda Tingle, Mildred Tingle and Emily “Ree” Roberts.

A visitation for Benjamin will be held Monday, June 2, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 1:00 PM, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. A burial will occur Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Fort Sill National Cemetery, 2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd, Elgin, OK 73538.
