Betty June Murray

Betty June Murray was born March 26, 1936 near Boicourt, Linn County, Kansas and passed away December 10, 2015 in Midwest City, OK. She married Carl N. Murray, Sr. on Dec. 1, 1953. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Murray, Sr.; son, Carl N. Murray, Jr.; her parents, Cecil V. and Edith Carpenter; 1 brother, Floyd Carpenter; and 2 sisters, Mary Jane Taylor and Patricia Faudel. She loved crafts; spending time with her grandchildren; traveling on cruises; and dancing. Survivors include her son, Michael Murray of Midwest City, OK; 1 daughter, Susan (Richard) Ohse of Newalla, OK; 1 brother, John L. (Vada) Carpenter of Wichita, KS; 3 grandsons, Donald (Leah) Ohse; David (Tracy) Ohse; and William (Jennifer) Ohse; 3 granddaughters, Sharon (Walter) Blackwell; Carlena Murray; and Elizabeth (Levi, Sr.) Arrowood; nine great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jonah, and Alexander Ohse; Matthew and Breanna Blackwell; Willaim, Jr. and Rhonnie Lynn Murray; and Levi, Jr. and Owen Arrowood; and 2 beloved adopted great-grandchildren, Jessica and Jeanna Blackwell. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., OKC, OK 73141. Burial will follow in Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City, OK.
