Beverly was born to Frank and Dorothy Ford on January 11, 1932, in Oklahoma City. Beverly will be forever remembered by her daughter Jana Thomason and her husband Marty, granddaughter Jackie Corcoran and her children; Milo, Everly Thomason and Alivia Corcoran, grandsons Cody Thomason and his wife Alicia, Geoffrey Fearnow and his wife Lula and their son Seth Fearnow, and many other nieces, nephew, a brother-in-law, and cousins. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, husband William “Bill” Fearnow, son Jeffery Fearnow, and sister Kay Clay.
Beverly grew up in Oklahoma City, Kansas City, MO, and on the west coast in Vancouver, Bremerton, and San Francisco, while her father traveled for work and learned the plumbing trade. Her father was drafted into the Navy during WWII. While serving, the family settled down in Oklahoma City and joined Capitol Hill Baptist Church.
Beverly graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1949 and attended Oklahoma State University as an Art Major, where she met her husband of nearly 64 years. They were married July 3, 1952, and immediately moved to Chicago, while Bill attended graduate school. While there, Beverly got a job with an engineering firm as an apprentice draftsman. In 1953, Bill was drafted into the U.S. Army, and they lived in Orleans, France, during the Korean Conflict. Upon returning to Oklahoma, Beverly was a stay-at-home mother for their two children for most of the years their children were growing up. The family started acquiring horses, and she would haul horses to riding lessons, clean stalls, and feed and care for horses over the next several years. She later went back to school at OSU Tech and learned Geological Drafting and went to work in 1979 in the Oil & Gas industry. Beverly worked contract with several oil & gas companies in Oklahoma over the next ten years and then moved to California in 1989. Beverly learned Environmental Drafting and worked in that industry for a few years while in CA. When California’s economy hit a depression in 1993, Bill and Beverly moved back to Oklahoma City to semi-retire and joined the First Christian Church in Oklahoma City.
