Billy Joe Hall crossed the finish line on December 26th, 2022. He was born on December 18th, 1929, to Julius Hall and Willie Hall, on a snowy day in Ardmore, OK. He graduated high school in Edmond, OK, and soon after joined the USAF, extending a career of 40 years with the Air Force Reserves. He retired from TAFB, civil service, as a logistic officer. He was a proud patriot and a member of the American Legion, VFW, and NRA.
Billy enjoyed fishing, hunting, OU football, and horse racing at Remington Park. He also enjoyed a good scotch or brandy, and a great steak. He loved to celebrate the 4th of July by cooking ribs and having a yearly pool party with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Brenda; daughters Helen Harris (Derrel), and Julie Hall, both of Edmond, OK; Granddaughter Melissa Hawkins (Justin) and their children Hunter and Kipton, of St. Charles. MO; Grandson Ryan Bowles and his daughter Aubri of Edmond, OK. Also survived by sister, Sue Wood of Bartlesville, OK, and sister in law Geraldine Hughes of Oklahoma City, OK, nd many nieces and nephews.
Billy loved to always have a dog by his side or in his lap. He will be missed by Kinlee, the most current furry resident of the Hall household.
Services will be Monday, January 2nd, 2023, 2:00 PM, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, with burial following. Viewing will be Monday, January 2nd, 2023, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
