Bobby McDonald

Bobby Gene McDonald, 84, was born in Weleetka, Oklahoma. Bobby grew up in West Texas and graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor's of Science in Education and History; he remained a history buff all his life. Later he completed two professional Insurance certifications known as the RHU and CLU. Bobby had a very successful career in Insurance sales as well as management. He was General Manager for Paul Revere Life Insurance Company for 20 plus years before he retired. He thoroughly enjoyed his retirement years spending time with family and traveling. Bobby’s parents and sister, Lucille, preceded him in death. Bobby served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955. He was stationed in Germany. On October 21, 1955, he married the love of his life, Anna Daniel. Their story book love lasted throughout their life time. They had 3 children and 7 grandchildren over their 61 years of marriage. Bobby loved God and his family and lived his faith by example. He is survived by his wife Ann of the home, son, Mark McDonald and wife Mary of Frisco, TX, daughter Carol Hall and husband Ross of Piedmont, OK and daughter Elaine Davis and husband Greg of Edmond, OK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association
