Bobby Earl Tidwell

Bobby E. Tidwell “Bob,” 88, went to be with the Lord February 9, 2016. He was the son of Ollie and Grace Tidwell. Bob was born May 5, 1927 in Denton, Texas. He spent his time with local rodeos until he was drafted into the Navy and honorably served in World War II. Bob married his true love, Phyllis L. Bohannon on July 1, 1949 and together shared 66 years of more rodeos, square dancing, traveling and making memories. He provided a loving home for his family by selling oil equipment and supplies. He was a loving husband, devoted Christian and father. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; two sisters and son David Lee Tidwell. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; daughter Sallyjo and husband Dwight Wiebe; son Bobby W. and wife Linda; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and friends. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 3-8pm February 12, 2016 and funeral services will be at 10:00am, Saturday, February 13, 2016. Both will be held at Guardian Funeral Homes West Chapel, 5820 NW 41st Street, Warr Acres, OK.
