Bruce Lee Harrington was born into this world on May 21, 1957 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He passed from this world to Heaven on March 17, 2011. He was raised in Choctaw, Oklahoma and graduated from Choctaw High School and went on to attend Rose State College where he played basketball and also developed a major love for golf. Bruce was a board member of the Choctaw Golf Association. If he wasn't playing golf he loved to go water skiing at any number of Oklahoma Lakes and also loved snow skiing at Colorado and Flagstaff, Arizona. Brue loved all games especially playing dominoes with his Dad, Mack Harrington at the lake. He and his dad loved to "jug fish" for catfish. In 1981 he married and his first daughter was born in 1985. He was her best friend and spent many hours teaching her basketball and was even ejected from a few games for his outspokeness. He also coached her in the game of golf at which she excelled, playing golf on the Choctaw High School Golf team. Ten years later his second daughter was born in 1994. Of course he taught her all the same games he loved and adored. He always wanted to teach and show his daughters the "Wonders of the World." Both daughters knew it was "Game Time" when he arrived home from work. He worked most of his life in retail and commercial tire sales and with each sale he made a friend. He was married for 25 years and lived in Choctaw for most of his married life except for 8 years in Mesa, Arizona. He loved his home in Choctaw thruout his marriage. It should only be said that he was a man that liked to have fun and made many friends that loved him very much. He was a man with a generous heart for anyone in need and he loved the Lord and was grateful for all the Lord had blessed him with while he was here on Earth. He was preceded in death by his father Mack Oliver Harrington. Survivors include two daughters, Nikole Nickels and her husband Joshua of Edmond, Oklahoma; Michaela Harrington of Choctaw, Oklahoma; his mother, Freda Harrington; 1 brother, Ron Harrington and his wife Donna of Choctaw, Oklahoma; one sister, Starla Mueller and her husband Andre of Choctaw, Oklahoma; his former wife and the mother of his children, Sonia Harrington of Choctaw, Oklahoma; nieces and nephews, Marie and Jessica Mueller; Michael Harrington and his wife Amanda; Donnie Benedix and his wife Heather; Scott Brown and his wife Samantha; and Brad Stahlheber; great-nieces and great-nephews, Kate; Bella; Taylor; Avery; Ryder; and Ethan.
