

Janet graduated from Northwest Classen High School and received a B.A. degree from Oklahoma State University.
Janet worked for St. Paul Insurance Company for 14 years. Her range of employment there ranged from personal lines rater, commercial lines underwriter, and marketing and field supervisor.
Janet retired from Associated Risk Managers of Mid-America (ARM) as president (1990-2014) and also served as president for Associated Risk Managers Finance Company from 2003-2014.
During her insurance career, she served on the ARM National Board, ARM Underwriting Review Committee, ARM National Planning Committee and on the Board of Directors of ARM National. She was recognized by the CPCU of Oklahoma with an Industry Service Award. She was a member of Insurance Women of Oklahoma City (IWOC) and also served that organization as president. She was a member of the National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW) and served on both regional and national committees of that organization.
She enjoyed reading and traveling. She was an active member of NewChurch and served on various committees of the church. She was an avid supporter of the HUG PROJECT, which provides care packages to our military men and women overseas.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Francis P. and Billie Doling, and her son, Corporal Jeffry Alan Rogers, USMC, who was killed in action in November 2005 in Iraq.
Janet is survived by her husband, Jimmie, to whom she has been married for 36 years. She is also survived by her brother, Ernest (Jacque) Doling of Canal Winchester, Ohio, her sister-in-law, Paula Rogers of Edmond, brother-in-law, Ron Rogers of Oklahoma City, 3 nieces, 2 nephews; 6 great-nieces and 4 great nephews. Janet will be missed by her family members and her many friends.
