

Charles was a stubborn but independent man who loved his family very much. He enjoyed going to garage sales, auctions, camping, and traveling. Charles had a good sense of humor and was always joking. After Charles retired as a truck driver, he was able to do more things that he enjoyed like listening to jazz, blues, country, and bluegrass music. He was also able to have coffee with his friends numerous times during the week.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 40+ years, Mary Norman; and sister, Beaulah Trivette. Survivors include his children, Brenda Norman and Shannon, Roxan Davis and husband John, Edward Norman, Steven Norman, Charles Norman, Susan Lux and Donald, Gayle Schovil and Conrad; step-son, Jeffery Peffers; 12 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; siblings, Gary Norman, Arnold Norman, Rita Price, Diane Trivette, and Barbara Jean Wood; and many other friends and family members who will miss him dearly.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
