Christopher Richard Klasek

Christopher Richard Klasek passed from this life on Oct 31, 2018 at the age of 35. Services have been entrusted to the care of Advantage Funeral & Cremation Service and a service celebrating Chris’s life will be held at 10am on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at the funeral home chapel located at 7720 S. Penn in S.OKC.

Chris was born on Dec 1, 1983 in San Antonio, TX. He was raised in OKC and attended school at US Grant High School. He spent the majority of his life serving as a cook and bartender in Bricktown, the Devon Tower, Chipotle , and Bill’s Saloon. He also found work as a roadie traveling the country and setting up stages and lightening for everyone from ZZ Top to Taylor Swift.

On Feb 16, 2013 Chris married Kristen Jones and became a daddy to her daughter Lilyanna. Chris and Lily were best friends and she was certainly his pride and a source of profound joy. They enjoyed watching movies and riding bikes together.

Chris was a funny guy with a quick wit. He was equally as ornery as he was a smooth. He was always family oriented and he loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was an avid OSU fan and animal lover. He enjoyed getting tattoos and he attended Life.Church-South OKC Campus. Chris packed a lot of life into his short 35 years and his memory will carry on through the kind and selfless acts of those who loved him.

Chris Klasek is survived by his wife Kristen Jones; daughter Lilyanna Vidaurri; mother Melanie White and husband Richard; father Chuck Klasek and wife Cathey; two siblings: Sabrina Baker and husband Pat and Kandace Klasek; 7 nieces and nephews: Lindsey Baker, Jessica Baker, Danielle Baker, Caiden Reynolds, Bently Reynolds, Brookly Reynolds, and a special niece Maggie Western.
