Clara Brown, known by her grandchildren as grandma and bobo of Harrah, OK, entered this world on January 13, 1926, in Fall River, Massachusetts, to parents John Camara and Maria Corriera. Clara lived in many places before finally settling in Oklahoma. Clara loved many things — classic country music, her family, and, of course her trips to the casino. Her favorite color was purple and her perfect day would have been heading to the casino, spending time chasing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and sharing plenty of laughter with them. She taught those around her how to be strong, independent, loving and delightfully sarcastic. Clara enjoyed many activities throughout her life, including square dancing and ballroom dancing, but above all, she loved her family and her beloved cat, Purdy. On October 5, 2025, Clara entered into rest, joining her parents; two sisters; six brothers; her daughter Rebecca Stamback; and two great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children; John, Rachel, Francene and Peter, twelve grandchildren — including April Ryan, Clara’s primary caregiver — twenty-three greatgrandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
