Colby was born on August 18, 1979, and passed away on July 15, 2013 from heart failure. Colby’s heart was larger than life, and he will always be remembered as a gentleman with a contagious smile and infectious laugh. He was always kind, generous and respectful and loved nothing more than spending time with his many friends and family. The world was a better place with Colby in it, and without him, a huge hole will forever be in our hearts. Colby was a “lifer” at Heritage Hall School, from where he graduated in 1998. In high school, he excelled on the tennis courts, where he won state championships and was named an All-State player.Colby attended OU and was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He graduated with degrees in accounting and marketing, and worked at BancFirst since graduation. Colby loved OKC, where he was born and raised, and planned on raising a family here with the love of his life, his wife, Aubra. He loved to cheer for the Thunder, grill out, spend time at the lake, and attend church with Aubra.
Colby will be missed everyday by Aubra; his parents, Michael and Linda Sartin; sister, Taylor, and brother-in-law, Josh and their children, Garren and Liddie; brother, Matthew and future sister-in-law, Annie; numerous family members and friends, and of course, “The Duff Man.”Colby will always be loved, terribly missed and never forgotten.
