David Allen DeLand

David was born on February 23rd, 1963 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

MOBY graduated from Keota High School in 1981 where he lettered in Track and Football. He graduated with an Associates in Electrical Technology from Oklahoma State University – Okmulgee in 1983. He received another Associates from Rose State College in 2007.

David was an avid hunter, fisherman, and general conservationist of the outdoors. As a youngster he spent time doing conservation work and trail building in the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge.

David was also a huge fan of athletics. An OU Football season ticket holder, coach of a few softball teams called the Goofballs, and someone who never took his eye off sports in Keota.

David married Teresa Kay Watson on January 28th 2000.

He carried an Unlimited Electrical Contractors License in the state of Oklahoma. But his boys called him a Power Ranger. He worked on power distribution and control systems for the VA Hospital, Hobby Lobby’s Corporate Warehouses , and Tinker Air Force Base.

His sister Tracy Gayle precedes David in death.

David is survived by his wife Teresa, sons, David II and Drew, grandchildren, David III, Ava , and Archer , Mother, Radine, Brothers, Richard and Tommy, Sisters Terri and Kathy.
