

Deb was the daughter of Albert Broerse and Delma Hancock, born on November 11, 1959. She graduated from Douglas High School and worked at Rexam Can Company until her retirement.
She enjoyed many hobbies such as watching her favorite sports teams, OU and the Kansas City chief's football, OU softball, and Thunder basketball. Deb enjoyed reading, dancing, and listening to music, especially with her friends and family. Deb loved nature. Fishing, traveling, and sitting outside on the porch watching the birds, dogs, and chickens. More than anything, Deb loved spending time with her friends and family.
Deb fought a warriors battle with pancreatic cancer. She was devoted to her kids and grandkids, plus the many she claimed. She was loving and loyal to her family and friends. Deb was loved greatly and will be missed.
She is preceded in death by her father Albert Broerse, her mom Delma Hancock, and her sister Linda Broerse.
Deb is survived by her Partner Ruth Mooney, her son Matthew of the home, and daughter Lisa Cable of Oklahoma City. Her grandkids Zachary Scott, Madison Scott, John Osborn, Nathan Mooney, and many claimed. Her brother Alan Broerse of Oklahoma City, and many loved nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on February 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Fraternal Order Police Lodge at 1624 South Agnew Avenue in Oklahoma City. In leu of flowers, please make a donation to the Nikki Mitchell Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer.
