Della “Janie”, 73, passed away from a heart attack on Sept. 10, 2025. Janie was the daughter of Billy H. Orr and Maxine “Louise” Runkle Orr. She is survived by her daughter Gerry Ann Orr, Sisters Pamela Orr Linsenmeyer and husband Wayne Linsenmeyer of Colorado, and Debra Sue Orr Croft and husband David Croft of Oklahoma City, Nieces Misti Mefford, Shannon Orr, and Dawn Orr. Nephews Jason Mefford, Eric Orr, and Joshua Linsenmeyer., many great nieces and nephews, and one great-great nephew. Finally, the many who loved her so much they adopted her as their mom and Nana.
She was predeceased by her parents, and her brother Billy Orr, Jr.
Janie studied and earned a B.S. in visual arts education. She taught in Frederick, OK, and OKC public schools for a number of years.” Janie” also worked 23 years as a Contracting Officer at Tinker Air Force Base.
“Janie” was a born again Christian and dedicated her life helping and housing unwed pregnant ladies, and a steady flow of those who needed housing and a hand up.
“Janie” loved art and had many projects going.
She was greatly loved by all, and especially her family!
