

Dennis “Denny” Boyd Lipsitz, 84, of Oklahoma City, passed away on May 11, 2026. Born on August 11, 1941, Denny was raised in Revere, Massachusetts, where he spent his childhood playing sports with his cousins and actively participating in the Jewish Community Center.
A man of quiet strength and immense devotion, Denny’s life was defined by his loyalty to those he loved. He remained a constant, supportive presence for his parents, his sister, and his twin brother throughout their lives. This dedication extended to his own family, whom he worked tirelessly to provide for. He took great pride in ensuring his family enjoyed annual vacations and in providing for his children's college education. An enthusiastic supporter of his children, he found great joy in watching them play sports, and he continued his own love for the game by playing tennis well into his retirement.
Denny earned a degree in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University and dedicated over 30 years to his profession. His career took him from Massachusetts to North Carolina, eventually leading him to Oklahoma City, where he built a life centered on family, integrity, and lasting friendships.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Deanna Lipsitz; his son, David Lipsitz and wife Vivian Block; his daughter, Dana DeWolfe and husband Ben DeWolfe; and his four beloved grandchildren, Matan Hoshea Lipsitz, Noa Hadassah Lipsitz, Brayden DeWolfe, and Ashlyn DeWolfe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Rose Lipsitz; his sister, Suzanne Lipsitz; and his twin brother, Donald Lipsitz.
Denny will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his family and the enduring connections he fostered. His memory will remain a blessing to all who knew and loved him.

A Committal Service will be held at Temple B'Nai Israel Cemetery, 13343 N Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73131, on May 14, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
