Don D. Rawson

Don Delayne Rawson, age 80 of Oklahoma City, passed away January 11, 2014. He was born August 1, 1933 to Harlan and Esther Rawson in Brewster, Kansas. He was a graduate of Brewster High School and served our country in the US Army, stationed in Germany. He moved to Oklahoma City after High School and lived in his current residence for the past 51 years. Don was a Real Estate Investor, and also a long time Truck Driver for Humpty Dumpty Foods until his retirement in 1985. Don loved the lake and boating. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason. He married Loretta Lynn Minyen on January 25, 1957 and would have celebrated 57 years of marriage to her this year. Don is survived by his wife, Loretta; three children, Ricky Rawson, Carla Rawson-Ratcliff and Wendell Rawson and his wife, Roynell; Five Grandchildren, Crystal, Ricky Jr., Brandon, Casey and Caleb; Five Great-Grandchildren, Alantis, Christopher, Malochi, Chloe and Cyler. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and a brother. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City.
