

Donald I Dressler Jr was born on March 22, 1941 in Wadsworth, OH to Donald Sr. and Margery L. (Bowman) Dressler. He passed away at his residence in Norman, OK on October 26, 2021. Don grew up in Wadsworth, OH and graduated from Wadsworth High School where he was a Shot Puter. Don enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Tinker Air Base in Oklahoma City, OK where he met his wife Lucinda “Cindy” (Dalmeier) Dressler.
Don worked with his father in the Dressler Plumbing business where he learned the trade, became a master plumber and opened his own business in Wadsworth and worked at Red Hutchins Plumbing Ltd until he moved to Norman, OK in 2004.
Don was an avid bowler and alongside his father Don Sr., their team won the Wadsworth’s Men Association City tournament. He loved coaching Little League teams and teaching baseball to his three sons.
His belief in God drew strong throughout several churches they attended and along with Cindy were very active members of the Southgate Pentecostal Holiness Church in Moore, OK.
Don is preceded in death by his wife Lucinda “Cindy” (Dalmeier) Dressler, parents, Donald I Dressler Sr and Margery Dressler and son Robert Dressler. He leaves behind his son Donald I Dressler III and wife Kristin Dressler, son Rick Dressler and daughter-in-law Michelle Gladding Dressler, daughter-in-law Liz McSpadden and her husband Mark McSpadden, grandson Devin Dressler, granddaughters Abby Dressler and Katy Harvill, sisters, Linda Dressler Pakulis and Barbara Dressler Stewart and her husband Gerald.
Services celebrating the life of Don will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 10 a.m. at the Southgate Pentecostal Holiness Church, 206 S Janeway Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73160. Don will be laid to rest with his wife Cindy at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK at 2 p.m. on Wednesday following the service.
