Donna was born in Oklahoma City in 1941 to her mother and father, Maudelan and Maxwell Leon Andrew. She attended Capitol Hill High School. She was adored by her younger sister, Cheryl. They spent many happy hours together singing while they washed dishes throughout their childhood and into adulthood on special family occasions.
Donna married her husband, Dr. Calvin Lee Badon, in 1975 whom she met in New Orleans. Although, she had no children of her own she was a devoted aunt to her two nieces, Andrea and Erin, and later to nephew Ted.
Donna was a lover of words, language, music, theater, nature and all things of beauty. She had many interests and a wide circle of friends throughout the years. She sang in choirs, played tennis, created ceramics, traveled, and was a docent at the Oklahoma City Zoo. She loved dogs and even owned a championship winning bull terrier.
Donna “produced” Christmas for her family. She created beautiful holiday occasions with delicious meals, beautiful décor and exciting gifts for all. She was known to have more than just a few holiday decorations around her house.
