Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin and Friend, Edna Mae Killough,
peacefully left this life November 12, 2015. Edna Mae was born in Healdton, Oklahoma
December 12, 1917 to Oscar and Minnie Saied. She graduated from Maude High School and
after her family moved to Oklahoma City she became a student and graduate of Oklahoma City
University. While there she met the love of her life, Roy Killough, and they celebrated forty-six
years together before his passing.
Edna Mae enjoyed a career as a Social Security case worker and remained active in her
church until her health slowed her down. Her first love was Roy but her many passions
included writing, cooking, sewing, family, friends and her faith.
She was preceded in death by her youthful sister, Edna, for whom she was named, her
parents, her beloved husband, Roy Killough, her older sisters, Bedila Reed and Nellie Saied, her
brothers, Cecil Saied and wife Sally, Ralph Saied and wife Kitty, James G. Saied, Bill Saied and
wife Marge, Kemal Saied and wife Connie. She is survived by Helen Saied, wife of James G., her
three children, Judia Stork and partner Phil Roffe, Kelly Killough and wife Fran, and Don
Killough. Her grandchildren include Jeanne Stork, Jay Stork, Jeff Stork and Emily Killough and
her great grandchildren, Katrina and Alexis Stork.
We extend a very special, heartfelt thank you to the EMSA staff that cared for her, all of
the employees of Deaconess Hospital and wonderful nurses and staff of Crossroads Hospice.
