Esther Emma Louise Shadoan

Esther Emma Louise Shadoan, 96 year-old resident of Harrah, Oklahoma, passed away April 17, 2013 in Harrah, Oklahoma. Born February 26, 1917 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Frederick John and Anna (Gilge) Moeller. Esther was a real estate broker and homemaker. She loved to cook family dinners, swimming, traveling with her husband, and fishing, especially Lake Keystone. Esther was a longtime member of Choctaw United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Evert B. Shadoan; two daughters, Mary Jo Rutledge; and Esta Lynn Ridgely; 1 brother, Wesley Moeller; and 1 sister, Freda Moeller. Survivors include 1 son, John (Bettie) Shadoan of Choctaw, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Frederick Moeller of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Mario (Helen) Moeller of Mannford, Oklahoma; 1 sister, Juanita (Harold) Smotherman of Tyler, Texas; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2013 at Choctaw United Methodist Church, 1200 N. Choctaw Road, Choctaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Choctaw, Oklahoma. Memorial contributions may be made to the Choctaw United Methodist Church.
