

Eugene “Gene” George Juhl, 72, of Midwest City died unexpectedly Friday, November 13, 2015. He was born on December 1, 1942 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, youngest son of George and Ethel Juhl. He enlisted in the United States Air Force September 6, 1961 and retired as a Master Sergeant on January 31, 1984, after serving over 22 years. Tours of duty included Osan AB, Korea, Andersen AFB, Guam, Whiteman AFB, Missouri, Selfridge ANGB, Michigan, Duluth AFB, Minnesota, Shemya AFB, Alaska, Ramstein AB, Germany and Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. Following retirement he was employed by Payless Cashways, Checotah Rural Water District, and the Del City Water Treatment Plant, retiring August 2002. Retirement activities included extensive traveling throughout the U.S., as well as many cruises. Gene enjoyed spending much of his time at Lake Eufaula where he made many life-long friends. He also enjoyed time with his family. He was predeceased by his parents, brother, George, and sister, June, as well as his first wife, Loretta. He is survived by his wife, Ruth, of the home, daughter, Jeanie Centala, and husband, Charles, of Tampa, FL, son, Robert Fuller, of Midwest City, daughter, Cheryl Furrer, and husband, Gary, of Midwest City, daughter, Linda Hopper, of Choctaw; step-daughter, Marcia Babin, and husband, Brian, of Choctaw, step-daughter, Michelle Brown, of McLoud; sister-in-law, Pamela Sansbury of Estero, FL; grandchildren, Christopher, Connor and Chase Centala of Tampa, FL, Michael Furrer, and wife, Neann, of Noble, Matthew and Mark Furrer of Midwest City, Margaret and Justin Hopper of Choctaw, step-grandchildren Brenna Rahrig, and husband, Gil, of Edmond, Megan Morgan, and husband, Patrick, of OKC, Shannon Fitzwilliam of Choctaw, Brandon Brown of OKC, Courtney Holmes of OKC, Caitlin and Lani Brown, of McLoud; great-grandchildren Gidion Wallace of Choctaw, step-great grandchildren Ryan & Lily Rahrig of Spring, TX, Allie Brown of Choctaw, Javeon Holmes of OKC, Jake Rodriguez of Eagan, MN, and Cadyn Tate, of OKC. Visitation will be 4-7pm Thursday, November 19, 2015, and funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday, November 20, 2015 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd St, OKC. Interment will immediately follow full Military Honors at Arlington Cemetery.
