
Frank Lee Hollandsworth, 63 year-old resident of Midwest City, OK, passed away November 4, 2010 at the Veteran’s Medical Center in OKC. Born May 28, 1947 in OKC, OK, he was the son of Elmer Noah and Bessie Mae Rager Hollandsworth. Frank was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Midwest City, OK. He was a Vietnam Army veteran serving in Vietnam for two years. During his service he earned the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Vietnam Service Medal with Bronze Star. Frank worked for 20 plus years at Dayton Tire. He loved watching NASCAR racing and going to the races at the Fairgrounds. Frank was preceded in death by his father Elmer Hollandsworth; and his grandparents, William and Frieda Hollandsworth and Frank L. and Maude Rager. Survivors include his mother, Bess Hollandsworth of Midwest City, OK; his sister, Sue and her husband Frank Ogle of MWC, OK; 2 nephews, Don Ogle of OKC, OK; Rick and his wife Karen Ogle of Edmond, OK; 1 great-niece, Kailyn Ogle; 1 great-nephew, Carter Ogle; and many loving Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, OKC, OK, with Rev. Bill Spain and Pastor Jim Green officiating. His family suggests memorial contributions to the Early Childhood Building Fund, c/o Sooner Baptist Church or the Leukemia Society. Special thanks to the staff at the VA Hospital Oncology, Infusion, and Clinics for their care of our son, brother, and uncle.
