Franklin Zachariah Higgins resident of Norman and former resident of Ponca City, OK passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at his home. He was 29. "Zac", as many knew him, was born November 24, 1986, in Oklahoma City to Robert and Jeannie Higgins. Growing up, he lived in the Oklahoma City area for most of his life. Upon leaving, he was in Ponca City for a brief time. After moving back to Oklahoma City he attended school at Deer Creek High School. Zac had a passion for music and that passion led him to tour with one of the best heavy metal bands, known as Texas Hippie Coalition (THC) taking him all around the world. He found his passion while following in the footsteps of his most cherished father. While touring with different bands he worked at Creative Entertainment Unlimited for 10 years. For the people he let into his life, he was a very talkative, loving and very outgoing man, who loved and cared very much for others including his niece and nephew Kelsey Baichtal and Jace Hunter whom he loved fiercely. If you were to ask anyone who had known Zac they would all say he was born to entertain and that he did. He lived to make people smile, have a good time and enjoy themselves. He will be missed dearly by his most loving family and friends. His hard work and dedication will be missed by the fans he impacted and the people he worked with. But this isn't a time for goodbye, it's simply a time for thank you.
He is survived by his mother; sister Courtney Gallimore and husband Dale; step brother Josh and step sister Lindsay; half brother Jason Osborne and wife Samantha; girlfriend, Savannah and her son Kainen; niece and nephew Kelsey and Jace; a very dear aunt Fran Norris and numerous cousins and all of his friends.
He is preceded in death by his father; step mother Tonya Higgins and his grandmother Francies Higgins.
