Froilan Galarza passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, at the age of 63 in the ICU of Mercy Hospital. Born on March 6, 1962, in Villanueva, Zacatecas, Mexico, to his parents Jose Galarza and Maria De Loera-Galarza, Froilan lived a life of dedication and care for his loved ones.
Froilan worked as a cook and chef at IHOP, where his skill in the kitchen brought comfort to many. He was a faithful member of the Catholic community at St. Eugene Church, finding strength in his beliefs.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Galarza, and his children: Adrian, Jorge, Froilan Jr., and Jennifer. His grandchildren, Valentina and Jeremiah, were a special joy to him. He also leaves behind his parents, eight brothers, and five sisters, who were a big part of his life.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 2400 W Hefner Rd, The Village, OK 73120. Following the mass, interment services will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park, 6001 N.W. Grand Blvd., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
