

Glenda was born on September 25, 1941, in Woodland, California, to Claude P. Roberts and Flora Helen (Carver) Roberts. At the age of 10, her family relocated to Midwest City, Oklahoma, where her father began working at Tinker Air Force Base. She graduated from Midwest City High School in 1960.
In 1962 she married Arley E Dennis and that union produced Patricia (Patti) Dennis in 1963 and Robert (Bobby) Dennis in 1966. In 1983, she met and married the love of her life, Robert E. Mantle. Together, they shared 36 devoted years of marriage.
Glenda spent many years serving her community through her work with the City of Midwest City and later with Tinker Air Force Base, where she was employed for 20 years.
Glenda had a deep love for nature and found great joy in tending to her yard and flower beds, always working to make them beautiful. She also adored her loyal companion, her dog Sadie. Known for her quick wit and a touch of orneriness, Glenda brought humor and heart to every conversation.
But above all, Glenda loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she served Him faithfully throughout her years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Flora Roberts; her beloved son, Robert (Bobby) Dennis; her sister, Patricia Nettleton; and her husband, Robert Mantle.
She is survived by her brother Kenneth Roberts and wife Cheryl of Wyoming, her children: Patti Dennis of Oklahoma City, Gail Shannon of Mustang, and Tim Mantle of Texas. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Crystal Mantle, Brandon and Kelsie Cummins, Judd and Sarah Shannon, Justin and Valorie Mantle, and Jakob Shannon; and her great-grandchildren: Maverick Mantle, Aria Mantle, Gunner Cummins, and Emery Cummins. Many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Glenda’s life was a testament of love, strength, and unwavering faith. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and all who were blessed to know her.
A visitation for Glenda will be held Monday, July 21, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 2:00 PM at OKC Bethesda Church, 3101 SW 89th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73159. A graveside service will follow at Elmwood Cemetery Choctaw, 1760 N Choctaw Rd, Choctaw, OK 73020.
