

Gwendolyn Hunt of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on September 10, 2024. She was born on June 14, 1946, to parents Steve Edward Frunk and Corrine Osburn. Gwendolyn is a graduate of Capitol Hill High School and later went to work at the Post Office and then Tinker Air Force Base. Gwendolyn married her husband Donald Hunt, on November 9, 1979 and spent 42 years together until his passing on February 1, 2022.
She enjoyed watching reruns of classic TV shows such as Perry Mason, Tombstone Territory, Emergency, Adam 12, and Quincy. She also liked listening to music by Elvis Presley and George Strait.
A perfect day for her consists of sitting outside on the back porch with her husband, kids, and grandchildren. A fond and loved memory of Gwendolyn’s would be her trip to Tahiti. She received many letters of commendation for providing support to troops during missions abroad.
Gwendolyn is survived by her children William Engel of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Chrissy Clark (Bob) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Brian Engel (Ashely) of Yukon, Oklahoma; Aaron Hunt (Angela) of Rosharon, Texas; grandchildren Christopher Clark (Jen); Tyler Clark (Savannah); Jared Clark; Cody Clark; Nathan Hunt; Logan Hunt; Sarah Engel; Jennifer Allison (Scott); Ryan Welch; and great grandchildren Evelyn Clark; Oliver Clark; and Adaline Clark.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Steve Edward Frunk and Corrine Osburn, her brother Bill Luttrel, and her sister Beverly Masquat.
A visitation for Gwendolyn will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. A funeral will occur Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 2:00 PM, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. A burial will occur Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 N Midwest Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73141.
