Harlean was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1938, but moved with her family to California in 1947. She spent her academic years enjoying friendships, reading, dancing, and going to the movies. After graduating high school, she went to work for her father’s construction company. That is where she met the love of her life, Edward Lamb. Harlean and Ed married in 1956. She enjoyed her role as a housewife and mother of two daughters, Melanie Lamb (Crone), and Lianne Lamb (Growe). After her children graduated high school, Harlean re-entered the workforce and enjoyed bringing a smile to people's faces while working part-time jobs. She and Ed also enjoyed traveling together during their empty nest years.
Ed and Harlean moved to Oklahoma in 1992 to enjoy retirement on an acreage property in Piedmont. Not long afterwards, their family followed. Harlean spent her final 33 years of life surrounded by the love of her now expanded family. She is survived by her husband of 68 years Edward Lamb; her two daughters Melanie Crone (Lamb), Lianne Growe (Lamb); and her sons in law Bruce Crone and Ted Growe. She has three amazing grandchildren: Rod Greene, Jamie Hunt (Growe), and Jeff Growe who married equally amazing spouses: Trish Greene, Jeremy Hunt, and Laurel Growe. Harlean cherished her 7 great grandchildren: Lily Greene, Dylan Greene, Abigail Growe, Anna Growe, Eden Growe, Jude Hunt, and Ezra Hunt.
