Holly Jo Vermillion, of Jones, Oklahoma, passed away on October 19, 2025. She was born on July 15, 1974, to Jerry Burl Vermillion and Shirley Jo Hill. Holly spent most of her life in Oklahoma, where she graduated from Del City High School and later worked as an underwriter for MidFirst Bank. Her taste in music was ever-changing, but until her final days, her favorite remained Red Dirt country. A perfect day for Holly would have been traveling out of state to attend a Ryan Bingham concert. She had a sharp sense of humor, loved to laugh, and found joy in the silliness of her grandchildren. Holly was also known for her amazing food, every meal she made was prepared with love, and her cooking brought family and friends together. Above all, Holly loved her family deeply. She leaves behind a legacy of resilience, kindness, a smile that would light the room and common sense — and a lifelong love for OU football. She will be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother who would travel anywhere to see her favorite artists and spend time with those she loved most. Holly was preceded in death by her parents Jerry Burl Vermillion and Shirley Jo Hill, her daughter, Kaylee Daniels, and her sister, Jennifer Millsap. She is survived by her loving partner of eight years, Chris Blessington; her sons Charley Daniels (Brooke) of Noble, Oklahoma, and Jacob Daniels of Chickasha, Oklahoma; her grandchildren Abigail Daniels (9), Dakota Hobson (8), and Jacksyn Daniels (4); and her niece Jevan Easterwood.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, located at 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK, 73141, United States. The service is scheduled for October 27, 2025, at 2:00 pm.
