

Jack Privett, 88 year-old resident of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away December 22, 2011 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Born April 15, 1923 in Atoka, Oklahoma, he was the son of Arthur Henry Privett and Stella Ora Trimmer Privett. Jack was a proud Army veteran of WWII and had retired from the U.S. Army after more than 20 years of service. He worked at Tinker for many years and was retired from civil service. After that he worked for many years as a security guard at the Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Jack loved gardening and delighted in raising vegetables. He was an active member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and an avid fan of OKC Thunder basketball and college (OU) football. Jack was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruby Privett; 5 brothers, Arthur R.E.; Timothy; Alva; Dean; and Ray; and 3 sisters, Vera Mae; Thelma; and Jean. Survivors include 1 sister, Alean Sanders of Ardmore, Oklahoma; and many nieces and nephews; and extended family from his union with Ruby Privett. Also surviving are dear friends, Frank and Beverly Traylor and Sharon Milsap. Friends may call from 10-5 on Saturday, Dec. 24 and from 10-2 on Sunday, Dec. 25th at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with Reverend Gerald Lunsford officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
