Jackie D. Brannon, 90, of Choctaw, Oklahoma went to be with our Lord on Saturday, October 18th, 2025. Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, E.F. and Estelle Brannon and his sister, Norma Jean. He is survived by his wife of more than 50 years, Glenda M. Brannon, children Ronda Emmich and husband Steve of Phoenix, Arizona and Rick Hopper of Choctaw, Oklahoma.
Jackie served in the Army during the Korean War, retired after a long career with Univar, formerly Pioneer Chemical, and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Choctaw. Most importantly to those of us he blessed, he was a rock of patience and teaching. His grandkids and great grandkids have all been blessed by his abundant love and his steadfast faith in his Lord and his family.
Jackie never met a stranger, and his heart was open to everyone who needed anything. Lord, we are thankful for the years you gave Jackie with us; he was an important, irreplaceable piece of our family that made our village whole, and he will be forever with us as he spends eternity with You.
Services for Jackie will be held October 22, 2025, at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home in Midwest City, Oklahoma at 10:00am.
