Jayamoney Das, blessed with 61 years of marriage, 4 doting children, 3 sons-in-law, 8 outstanding grandchildren, and 8 beautiful great-grandchildren, has now serenely departed this life at the age of 89.

She leaves a powerful legacy of persistent faith-filled prayer, even during her last days when her hands were frequently seen gently clasped together, praying as her spirit praised our loving God.

As a mother and grandmother, our Amma/Grandma/Meema raised us to love God, to appreciate the beauty of His creation, and to commit His Word to heart. Her favorite moments involved tea times with loved ones, tending to beautiful flowers and birds, and singing to her grandchildren. There was never a time during our family gatherings that she did not persist in making sure we were all enjoying delicious food, which was her love language. She had the heart of a servant, generous and kind.

Our memories are rich with joyful moments with our Amma/Grandma/Meema and this will serve to comfort us as we find ourselves greatly missing her loving presence. We have peace knowing that she is now experiencing unimaginable joy with the Lord, with her husband and loved ones gone ahead.
