Jeane Ann Pigg

Jeane Ann known affectionately as, “The Great MeMe,” was born on June 14, 1926 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Johnnie Ray Pruitt and Bart Bond. On January 24, 1943 she married Marvin E. Pigg, and enjoyed 36 years of marriage. Her beloved father-in-law, John W. Pigg, performed the wedding ceremony that took place in her home in Lindsay, Oklahoma. They moved to Oklahoma City where they raised their family and spent most of their lives. Jeane Ann graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from OCW as a pianist. Jeane Ann was an avid member of the Mayfair Church of Christ. In 2012, Jeane Ann decided to move to McKinney, Texas.

Jeane Ann is preceded in death by her parents, and husband Marvin E. Pigg. She is survived by children John M. Bond, James R. Bond, and Marva Bond Morrow; grandchildren, Andrea Bond, Jessica Bond Heilig, Phillip Bond, Brandon Bond, and Che Hendrix; great grandchildren, Ashton Bond, Cole Heilig, Reed Heilig, Houston Hendrix, Hutson Hendrix, Hank Hendrix, and Delsin Bond.

Graveside Service celebrating Jeane Ann’s life will be held 11:30 a.m., Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Rose Hill Burial Park, 6001 N.W. Grand Blvd. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73118.
