Jeannette was born on April 2, 1974 in San Salvador, El Salvador. She came to the USA at age 5 and was raised in California. In 1998 she met the love of her life, Gilbert Aragon. They went on to get married and raise 3 wonderful children together. In 2012, the family relocated to OKC and Jeannette began working at Vaughan Foods in Yukon.
When she was not working, Jeannette enjoyed cleaning her home, dancing, listening to music, and watching her Spanish soap operas. She was a kind and selfless woman who always there to listen to and support those around her. Faith and family were the cornerstones of Jeannette's life. She loved the Lord and was a member of God of No Limits Church. She was never happier than when she was surrounded by her family. She always looked forward to spending time with her kids and grandkids. Jeannette and Gilbert spent 20+ years by each other's side and they were truly the best of friends and soulmates.
Jeanette made more memories in her short 46 years than most people could make in 100 years. She was a loyal wife, a loving mother, a caring sister, and a proud grandma. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father Miguel Melara. She is survived by her husband Gilbert Aragon; three kids: Andrew Melara (Leslie Melara), Gabriel Melara (Gabriella Vasquez), and Michael Aragon; 7 grandchildren: Erik Melara, Emily Melara, Valyssa Aragon, Andrew Melara, Anthony Melara, Evelyn Melara, and Angel Melara; her mother Maria Duarte; step-sister Valeria Aragon; as well as numerous other beloved family members.
